Perudo is an exciting dice game of guesswork, bluff and luck! Playing well requires an ability to deceive and also to detect your opponent's deception. Each opponent begins with five dice hidden under a cup. Players take it in turns to make a call of how many of one number dice they believe there are combined on the table. So a player might predict that there are eight 4s or twelve 2s for example. The next player then has to increase the call either in the number of the dice of that value or the value of the dice - for example, nine 4s or twelve 3s. Be careful though, the wrong call can have your opponent’s doubting you and calling ‘Dudo’, exposing your hand to see if your call could be the truth or if a little bit of bluffing has been occurring along the way! If there are not the correct number of the dice left on the table then the player challenged loses one of their dice. The winner is the last player standing with any dice left under their cup. There is no board, no setting-up, and no complicated rules, so Perudo makes a perfect after dinner or travel game. For 2 to 6 players aged 8 years to adult. It comes in a sturdy, lidded tin with 6 cups, 30 dice, a cloth pouch and game rules.Perudo is based on the Peruvian game of liar dice which is part-luck and part-skill.
